Bathroom Vanity Countertops in Charleston, SC

A vanity countertop brings the sink, fixtures, and storage layout together. Tava Granite and Marble fabricates and installs bathroom vanity countertops for Charleston-area homes and businesses.

Plan the sink and fixture layout first

Tell us whether you are planning a single or double vanity, keeping existing cabinets, or installing new cabinetry. Bring approximate dimensions and photos, plus the selected sink and faucet specifications when available.

Undermount, vessel, and other sink arrangements have different opening and placement requirements. Review faucet holes, backsplash height, side splashes, wall clearance, and space around each basin before the layout is confirmed.

Select a surface for bathroom routines

Think about cosmetics, soap, cleaning products, and daily use alongside your preferred appearance. Marble requires awareness of acid sensitivity, while quartz, granite, quartzite, and porcelain each have product- or stone-specific care requirements.

Compare the material with your cabinet finish, wall tile, floor, and lighting. For pronounced veining, discuss its placement across a double vanity and around sink openings. Review the actual slab or selected product rather than relying only on a small sample.

Measurement, fabrication, and installation

Accurate measurement follows review of the cabinet layout and project readiness. Confirm sinks, faucets, edges, backsplash, and cutouts before fabrication. Discuss access to upper floors, tight bathrooms, and any other delivery constraints.

Tava’s fabrication and installation page explains the wider process. Agree on who handles plumbing connections and other trades, and confirm those responsibilities in the written scope.

What affects a vanity countertop estimate?

Material choice, dimensions, sink quantity, openings, edges, backsplash, and access affect the estimate. A double vanity or a layout with multiple pieces may need different slab planning. Tell us about removal of the existing top and any changes to fixtures or cabinetry.

Bathroom vanity questions

Can you make a top for a double vanity?

Yes, double-vanity layouts can be discussed as part of your project. Share the cabinet layout and sink specifications so placement, material requirements, and access can be reviewed.

Will plumbing be included?

Confirm this in your estimate rather than assuming it is part of the countertop work. Agree on disconnection, reconnection, and any changes with the appropriate trades.

Should I use the same material for the backsplash?

A matching backsplash is one option. Discuss the height, wall conditions, joints, and relationship to any tile or mirror before fabrication.
